If you are looking to attract $5,000 or more in wedding sponsorships, it is likely that potential sponsors will want to see a sponsorship proposal. You will definitely need a sponsorship proposal if you want to raise $50,000 or more.

Wedding sponsorship proposals will need to address (among other things):

• Detailed description of the event / organization to be sponsored
• Demographic information
• Use of logos and promotional material
• Outline of advertising for the event / organization
• List of benefits for the sponsor (explained in marketing terms)
• Form of investment required (cash or other in kind)
• Outline of expected media support
• And much more.

If you are not experienced in creating such proposals and are not aware of the exact information that a potential sponsor would like to see in such proposal it can cause potential sponsors to look negatively on your sponsorship request. Ultimately, a proposal should sell you / your event / your organization and explain how sponsoring will result in benefits to the sponsor that EXCEED the amount of sponsorship funds requested (in the eyes of the sponsor). Note: that by emailing us your wedding sponsorship proposal you allow WeddingSponsorships.com the right to evaluate your proposal free from any impaired liability and the right to use/reproduce the proposal in any form.
